About YMCA Camp Ohiyesa

Camp Ohiyesa campers gain independence, build friend-making skills, challenge their limits, explore the natural world, and create lifelong habits of healthy living. During their stay, all overnight campers:

* Choose two individual skill areas/specialty activities. Campers attend those specialty activities every day to promote substantial skill progression

* Participate in daily cabin challenge specialty activities with their bunk mates

* Ride the slide or take on the lake during swim time

* Take part in all-camp evening programs like campfires and capture the flag

* And so much more

Our Specialty Activities: Campers choose from a range of specialty activities that fit their interests on the first day of camp. Specialty activities do not require pre-registration and vary from week to week. Sample specialty activities include:

* Boating and swimming

* Basketball, soccer and trick shots

* Origami, arts & crafts
