About WinShape Camps

Spend a slice of summer at a beautiful retreat away from home with WinShape Camps. Located across North Georgia, the awe-inspiring outdoors and our next-level programming create space for campers who have completed grades 1-11 to shine. Choose from one- or two-week experiences designed just for boys or girls. Over the course of several days, all campers develop skillsets indoors and out, build friendships and grow in their relationship with Jesus—while having the summer of a lifetime.

As a part of the WinShape Foundation, WinShape Camps' mission is to glorify God by creating experiences that transform campers and families with the message of Jesus Christ. Over 40 years ago, we launched our first overnight camp on the campus of Berry College in Rome, GA. Fast forward a few years and you can now find WinShape Camps in over 75 communities around the country. We even do camp in Costa Rica and Brazil! While our camp locations have expanded over the years, they all point back to the same mission – to create experiences that transform.

At the end of every summer, our parents write to us bragging about one thing over and over again – our Summer Staff. Over the course of several months, our team scouts campuses nationwide to recruit top-notch, college-aged students. Each applicant goes through an extensive application process and a 30-minute face-to-face interview. All of this is done to determine how well they could work with our campers and, more importantly, how well they could teach them about Jesus through a Biblical lens. Once they've been offered a job, all Summer Staff undergo a background check and safety training before being brought together for a week of intentional development from experts.
