About Vista Camps
Welcome to Camp Rio Vista for Boys and Camp Sierra Vista for Girls in the Texas Hill Country, between Hunt and Kerrville. We are two separate camps, a summer camp for boys & a summer camp for girls, with one purpose — to provide a safe, wholesome, fun-filled learning experience for every boy and girl, ages 6 to 16. Campers from around the world have called Vista Camps “home” since 1921.
The wonderful thing about Vista Camps is the community that encourages our children through these experiences. As the boys and girls run around camp pursuing their activities they are constantly interacting with their peers. They’re also under the watchful care of mature counselors who are cheering the kids on, and picking them up when they’re down. Without even realizing it, the kids are learning teamwork, collaboration, problem solving — real life skills that they will need as they get older.
Vista Camps offers a rare opportunity to live with friends and cabin mates from all over the world. As a smaller camp, we are proud of the family atmosphere that naturally takes place in this beautiful setting.
