With an 8:1 camper-to-counselor ratio, we're dedicated to giving your child the personalized attention they need to make the most of their camp experience. Our highly qualified counselors are committed to one goal: challenging campers to grow while ensuring they have an unforgettable summer. Each camp is tailored to fit the age and experience level of every participant, so everyone can enjoy activities that are both fun and meaningful.

Summers at Southern Camps are open to male and female students. Our day camps welcome rising 3rd–8th graders, while our boarding camps are designed for rising 9th–12th graders.

Co-Ed Day Camp STEM: June 15- June 19, 2026 Rising 3rd – 8th Graders - Campers will dive into several STEM subjects, each paired with interactive activities and experiments designed to make learning exciting and accessible. Co-ed Day Camp NATURE'S WONDERS: June 22 – June 26, 2026 Rising 3rd – 8th Graders - Campers will engage with a variety of focus areas, including wildlife, sustainability and agriculture, land and forest, and wetlands, through projects and activities that bring these topics to life. From observing local wildlife to exploring ecosystems and understanding human impact on the environment, every experience is crafted to foster curiosity, appreciation, and a deeper connection to the outdoors. Co-Ed Boarding Camp SOUTHERN SURVIVAL: July 5 – July 11, 2026 Rising 9th – 12th Graders - Campers will get hands-on experiences that build confidence, independence, and a real respect for the outdoors. We believe the best way to learn is by doing, so we spend our days in the woods putting survival skills into practice. Campers learn how to build fire and shelters, navigate terrain, identify signs of wildlife, and handle challenges that build character, teamwork, and patience. Learn More

Co-Ed Boarding Camp OPERATION LEADERSHIP: July 12 – July 25, 2026 Rising 9th – 12th Graders - This hands-on camp introduces students to the core values, missions, and fundamentals of the five U.S. military branches—Army, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard, and Air/Space Force. Through engaging activities and team-based challenges, campers gain insight into potential future careers in service while developing leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. These two weeks are designed for curious, motivated students—a launching point for those interested in exploring the path of military service.
