At SJYC, we’re more than a place to ride horses, hike trails, or roast s’mores — we’re a summer family. Campers and counselors-in-training return year after year not just for the adventure, but for the people who make it feel like home.
The heart of camp is our staff. Over 95% of them grew up here themselves, and now they return to give back the same love and support they once received. That’s what makes SJYC special — it’s a home away from home, built on shared traditions, lifelong friendships, and memories that last well beyond summer.
Nestled in the pines of the Coconino National Forest just 25 minutes from Flagstaff, we’ve been welcoming campers since 1949 — and we can’t wait to welcome yours.
