About Falcon Camp
Since 1959, Falcon Camp's summer programs for children ages 6 - 16 has been providing unforgettable experiences and life long learning.
Falcon Camp is an ACA accredited camp located in Carrollton, Ohio - not far from the Cleveland, Columbus, and Pittsburgh areas. Join us for a 2, 4, 6, or 8 week session, where you'll live in a cabin with your friends, learn new skills from our experienced counselors, and most importantly, HAVE FUN. If you would like to learn about our overnight camp program, contact us today!
At Falcon Camp, we don't believe you should be stuck doing something you hate. Because of that, we've designed our schedule to have a lot of choices built in. Every day, you choose what activities you go to for each of the four activity periods—ART, H20, D/A, and WRC—as well as a few special 'floating' activities.
For example, WRC (as we call it) gives you the choice of the following activities: Woodslore, Riding, and Crafts. Woodslore is a nature study activity that teaches you about firebuilding, plant identification, outdoor cooking, and a whole lot more. Riding is horseback riding and horsemanship, learning the parts of a horse, parts of a saddle, and how to tack up a horse. Crafts include tie dye, woodworking, watercolors…you name it!
Everyday, when your unit has WRC, you can choose which of those three activities to go to. You don't sign up in advance, and you don't have to go to the same one all week. Maybe on Monday you'll try Woodslore because your best friend in the cabin says it's great. Tuesday is your day to ride, so of course you are going to do that! And Wednesday is tie dye day, and of course you want to rock a new handmade t-shirt. The choice is yours!
