About Camp Starlight

For over 75 years, all have been used by campers, parents, and staff to define their experiences and memories of summer camp at Camp Starlight. Camp Starlight is a premier summer camp located in Starlight, Pennsylvania, just two and a half hours northwest of New York City. A drive up our mile long private road will bring you to our 385-acre brother/sister campus, which includes its own private lake and is surrounded by the 'endless mountains' of Pennsylvania.

Our brother/sister camp programs allow the girls and boys to enjoy separate activities during the day with all the elements of a single sex camp while still being together as a family for meals and many evening programs. Camp Starlight prides itself on its friendly campers, caring camp staff, quality camp program, and a beautiful facility.

Camp Starlight is accredited by the American Camp Association.

Camp Starlight offers an active and structured sleepaway camp program in a wide variety of activities that include athletics, water sports, creative and performing arts, and outdoor adventure. Boys and girls are scheduled separately into activities by age group as well as personal interest. A typical camp program day includes six periods with two opportunities for campers to choose their activities from an extensive range of electives. We have found that this approach facilitates friendships between campers while still giving each child the space to grow as an individual in those program areas that most interest him or her. The Senior campers' schedule is comprised completely of individual options.

Our specialty camp programs are headed by camp staff who have not only trained extensively in their respective areas but have experience teaching them as well, enabling us to provide each camper with top quality personal instruction. Our dynamic camp program is constantly varied with the inclusion of inter-camp tournaments, Starcamps with guest instructors, special events days, out of camp trips, and fun evening activities.
