About Camp Evergreen
Since 1999, Camp Evergreen has welcomed thousands of kids and teens to experience the joy of summer camp. From daily worship to playing in Moccasin Creek to silly, wild evening games—and everything in between—we offer an intimate camp experience that’s Christ-centered, intentionally rustic and simply, fun.
Camp Evergreen is a wilderness-centered Christian camp located in the North Georgia mountains near Lake Burton. Nestled in nature along a creek, Evergreen leaves out the bells and whistles and offers a simple, creative camp experience without all the extras.
A family-founded-and-operated camp running 25 years strong, Evergreen is rooted in Christ and our staff truly cares for campers like family—intentionally planting seeds and encouraging kids to explore their faith.
With smaller numbers to foster deeper relationships, we believe kids from all backgrounds deserve to experience the joy of summer camp. In a busy, digital world, Evergreen provides campers with the opportunity to escape to nature, experience adventure and connect with what matters most.
We know what an honor it is for you to entrust us with your kids with us. From staff background checks and screening to abuse prevention and CPR certifications, we want every parent to rest assured that we treat each camper with the utmost care. All staff are hand-picked as mentors for campers and are discipled in their Christian faith by camp leadership throughout the summer.
