About Berkshire Trails Camp
Berkshire Trails Camp sits in the heart of the Berkshires in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. Founded in 1968 as Kutsher's Sports Academy, it carries on a long tradition on a campus that generations of campers have passed through, now with a modern and expanded program for boys and girls ages 7-17.
Campers stay busy with a wide range of activities. A 20,000 square foot indoor fieldhouse holds gymnastics, parkour, indoor basketball and a fitness center. Outside there are six tennis courts, four basketball courts, baseball and softball fields, a roller hockey rink, a beach volleyball court and a skate park.
The waterfront covers waterskiing, wakeboarding, tubing, sailing, kayaking, canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, swimming and inflatables. The art center handles arts and crafts, ceramics, jewelry making, photography, videography, podcasting, t-shirt design and cooking. There is also a circus program with a flying trapeze and bungee trampoline.
Campers take out-of-camp trips to local spots including amusement parks, hiking trails and museums. Warm days and cool nights mean time on the fields and at the waterfront, then s'mores around a campfire at night.
Berkshire Trails is a traditional, tech-free camp. Campers can choose from a 2 to 7-week camp experience.
